In the framework of his sabbatical stay at Imperial College London (8th place in the QS World University Ranking), Dr. Radoslav Paulen gave a seminar on "Model-based design of optimal experiments using exact confidence regions" on February 6, 2019.

The statue of Dmitri Ivanovich Mendeley located at the entrance to the main building of Faculty of Chemical and Food Technology inspired the prestigious journal Science. The picture of the statue is depicted on the front page of the Science special issue dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Mendeley's invention of the Periodic Table of the chemical elements.

President Andrej Kiska handed over decrees of appointment to six new rectors at the Presidential Palace in Bratislava. Among them, the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava will be lead by Professor Miroslav Fikar. Congratulation!
